About Us
AKEL was established in 1985 in a small office that was only 17 square meters. Next AKEL moved out to a bigger area of 150 square meters.
In 1995 AKEL Scarves proved its quality in a 1000 square meters space that also today includes the administrative building. After establishing a Marketing Company, AKEL made its first move towards foreign markets.
AKEL is in 1998 a Textile Factory with 6000 square meters closed space was established in Kestel Orginized Industrial Zone.
A major prospective goal of AKEL is integration of production and obtaining an ISO certification.
Besides producing scarves, AKEL is operating with plaign dye capacity. Towards the end of 1998 printing will be effective. The principle of AKEL is reaching the best quality in its products.
While AKEL Textile has started producing 1000 m per week with only one set, today production capacity has reached 60000 m per week with 15 sets of products. After establishing the printing section, monthly production will be around 500000 m. Main goal of AKEL Textile is to increase the number of its products even more, to improve the quality, to develop relationships with foreign markets and to establish its own sale points.
AKEL Textile has formed a young and dynamic management staff for better administrative purposes. Owing to this young generation AKEL Textile is planning to convey AKEL scarves to the top.
We are using the last technology in our investments and paying the necessary attention to quality, clean and neat production.
As confection and packing jobs are done in our company, we believe that we offer our customers an excellent service department and repait facilities.
Among the countries that we have worked with are Turkistan, Belgium, Germany, Netherlands, Malaysia, United Arabic Emirates, Egypt, Jordan. Our goal is to spread the word AKEL Scarves to all over the world. |
